Three fruity cuts, including Fabio Neural on the remix await on Daniel Boon’s Blackberry EP. Make no mistake though, this is punchy techno at its zestiest.
Title track Blackberry stand as a no-frills, pure energy techno slice, with perforating wavy synths leading the melody on a darkroom journey. Fabio Neural reworks the track into a rougher, frantic alternative that bursts into excitement as the bass hits. The mellower of the two berries, Blueberry is an equally stimulating cut, albeit with a more minimalist, stripped back lead. An avalanche of gyrating synths and nervous pads create a sound vortex that can explode the floor, when deployed at the right time.
