What can be more compelling than one dancefloor-minded production force behind the controls? Two, of course - as is evident from label chief Simina Grigoriu’s joint effort alongside longtime collaborator and Taiwanese-Chinese techno powerhouse BB Deng.
Title track Double Trouble casts an immersive spell, binding the listener into a punchy drum and relentless bassline grip. Spanish DJ and producer Alberto Ruiz brings a more exotic influence, giving the track a melodic twist. On the flipside, AlBird adds gravitas through spacious pads and big breakdowns, spotlighting the track’s late night appeal.
