Volume 3 of the VA Kuukou compilation aptly entitled Passengers brings together a sexted of label alums as well as fresh faces each bringing their unique production flair into one original track.
The tracks make for an exhaustive arsenal of club weapons for different times of the set, like floor up-warmers Apriori, with its syncopated melody or Heinerich and Heine’s playfully groovy L’amnésie. There’s also a share of powerful roof raisers, from JOANiSH’s punchy The Great Hike to Italian producer and electronic music platform head Barbur’s straightforward techno number Its Berlin or Jägerhertz’ relentlessly elevating No Way Out. Rounding off the release in a rhythm-heavy, glitched-out fashion there’s Tomiac’s tonic Transposition.
